Famous worldwide, the tiramisu is always an excellent choice for dessert for any occasion. Learn here how to do it.
- 3 egg yolks
- 1/2 cup sugar
- Vanilla extract
- 250 grams of fresh ricotta
- 200 grams of cream
- 2 tablespoons brandy
- 1 cup of strong coffee
- 200 grams of cornstarch crackers
- Cocoa powder for dusting
How to prepare
- Beat the egg yolks with sugar until very light. Add two drops of vanilla essence and fresh ricotta. Mix well and set aside.
- Beat the cream with a tablespoon of sugar to the point of whipped cream. Gently mix the ricotta cream. Add the brandy and coffee and soak the biscuits in the mixture slightly.
Assemble the Tiramisu
In a medium ovenproof baking dish, add alternating layers of cookies and cream, ending with cream. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 8 hours.
Remove and sprinkle with cocoa powder before serving.
Replace vanilla essence with a cup of chocolate liquor.
You can also sprinkle the tiramisu with black chocolate sprinkles mixed with white chocolate sprinkles.
Goes well with vanilla ice cream.
