A sweet coconut with a touch of cloves.
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups shredded coconut
- 1 cup water
- Cloves to taste
How to prepare
In a medium saucepan, boil water and sugar to make a light syrup. Stir in coconut and cloves, stirring a few times. When the candy thickens and comes off the pan, remove from heat. Let cool and serve.
While serving in bowls, garnish them with strips of fresh coconut.
