Grenadine is a syrup of sugar and pomegranate cocktails used to increment and grout. For a long time was done exclusively with pomegranates grown on the island of Grenada in the Caribbean. Originally from Morocco, this drink was inspired by the movie of the same name starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman in 1942.
