Cream Biscuits recipe Ingredients

  • 2 cups of corn starch
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup cream
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • A pinch of salt

How to prepare

  1. Knead all ingredients, form a dough and shape the cookies.
  2. Place cookies on greased and floured baking sheet.
  3. Bake in moderate oven until the cookies become slightly stained.

Mom Tips

Yield is 20 parts.
If you do not have their own cookie cutter, model it with the edge of a cup.
The dough should be soft and unglue to your hands. If you need to add more cornstarch or flour do it little by little.
With preheated oven takes about 20 minutes.
To decorate, cookies may be placed on small pieces of guava paste, marmalade or jam your preference.

Recipe of Ice Cream like Panettone

Ice cream is one of those desserts that go well at any time. And no matter the season! Whether in summer or winter, this temptation is irresistible!

Ingredients

  • 1 can of cream
  • 1 liter of milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon of powdered alloy neutral
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon of emulsifier
  • 1 cup candied fruit
  • 1 cup of black seedless raisins

How to prepare

In a blender, beat the milk, sugar, alloy neutral and vanilla for 5 minutes. Place in a bowl and freeze for 2 hours or until almost set. Remove, add in a mixer, add the condensed milk, cream, milk, emulsifier and beat for 10 minutes or until light and fluffy. Spread on 2 pots and freeze for 2 hours or until it begins to harden. In each pot add half the fruit and half the raisins. Mix with a spoon, return to freezer for 2 hours or until set.

Yield is 4 liters.

The emulsifier serves to make the mass of ice more uniform, improving the incorporation of air by increasing the volume and giving aspect aerated. This ingredient also contributes to increasing the resistance to melting and prevents the formation of ice crystals.
The alloy neutral powder helps to keep the mass of stable ice cream, leaving the creamier texture and consistent. It also avoids the formation of ice crystals.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablets of yeast (15g each)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 pound of flour
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup seedless raisins
  • 2 tablespoons rum
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Beat 1 egg yolk

How to prepare

  1. Dissolve yeast in 3 or 4 tablespoons of warm milk.
  2. Sift the flour over the marble, make a hole in the center and add the dissolved yeast, sugar, salt, butter, eggs and remaining milk. Mix ingredients well and knead the dough until a smooth consistency and not stick to your hands.
  3. Cover and let rise until doubled in volume. Roll out the dough, sprinkle raisins, rum and cinnamon. Knead again, take the format of your choice and add on greased baking sheet. Cover and let rise again.
  4. Brush with beaten egg yolk. Bake in moderate oven (175 º C) for 40-50 minutes and serve cold.

Recipe of Baked Rice for Christmas

This rice is very colorful and can help to decorate your Christmas table.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rice washed and drained
  • 4 cups of boiling water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cube of vegetable broth
  • 100 grams of sliced green olives
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 onion, grated
  • 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 1 cup of boiling milk
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Grated Parmesan cheese to taste

How to prepare

  1. In a saucepan, heat oil, add the rice and stir well. Add the boiling water, the cube of vegetable broth, olives and parsley. Mix well and cook on low heat with the pot half covered, until the rice dry out almost completely. Reserve.
  2. In another pan, fry the onion in margarine, sprinkle the flour and pour the boiling milk gradually, stirring well until creamy smooth. Add the cheese, salt and remove from heat.
  3. Place half the rice in a large ovenproof baking dish and pour half the cream cheese. Cover with remaining rice and top with cream. Sprinkle the Parmesan and bake in preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until browning.

Mom Tips

Yield is 8 portions.
When you put the rice to cook, make sure it was good salt.
By making the layers in ovenproof baking dish you can add a few ingredients of your choice and mix of chopped vegetables and pepperoni sausage.
Just before serving, sprinkle with fresh chili chopped.

  • 60 ml gin
  • 90 ml of mineral water
  • 30 ml of lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon of Anisette liqueur
  • Guarana

How to prepare

Place lemon juice, sugar and mineral water in a glass cylinder with a capacity of 300 ml and mix well. Add 3 ice cubes, liquor and gin. Complete with guarana and stir again.
